The containers are ready for many years of use and can also be custom-built to meet the requirements of municipal technical administrations as well as environmental agency regulations regarding oil and chemical waste.
All our environmental containers have adapted basins so that the basin’s minimum containment capacity corresponds to the volume of the largest container to be stored in the container. For example, if 1000 liters IBC tanks are stored in the environmental container, the basin can contain a minimum of 1000 liters of liquid.
Secure storage of hazardous materials
Environmental containers are used for storing paint, chemicals, fuel, oil, and other potentially environmentally harmful materials. Environmental containers from DC-Supply A/S are equipped with a steel basin in the floor, where the basin is sealed against the container’s edge, so the walls slope down towards the basin. This design ensures good drainage to the basin, even during cleaning of the container. Additionally, the small ledge that extends slightly over the basin’s pressed steel gratings also helps.
It’s also advantageous to choose environmental containers with sensor-controlled lights, so the light automatically turns on when entering the container and turns off when it’s exited, reducing energy consumption. This is a small safety measure that can be a significant help in the daily handling of materials in and out of the container. With a well-structured and well-lit storage space, you help minimize the risk of spills or accidents – and thus also the risk of subsequent pollution.

Where are environmental containers used?
Environmental containers are useful in many industries and within various types of industrial and production settings. The construction with a containment basin in the floor makes an environmental container particularly useful for storing goods and materials where there is an increased risk of liquid spillage during handling.
At recycling centers:
At municipal recycling centers, citizens and businesses deposit, among other things, paint and other chemicals for environmentally sound disposal. With an environmental container, materials can be stored safely until they can be transported for destruction or recycling. At the recycling center, the use of environmental containers minimizes the risk of spills and leaks, even with heavy traffic in and out of the container throughout the day.
On construction sites:
On construction sites, there may be a need for storage space for flammable materials, or there may be a need to ensure that waste products are stored under orderly and suitable conditions, thereby avoiding spills on-site with potential soil or groundwater contamination consequences. Here, an environmental container is a cost-effective solution that can easily be transported with the rest of the units in the construction site layout when the contractor moves to a new construction site.
In industry:
