For Albatros Travel’s new souvenir shop located in Ilulissat, Greenland – DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply delivered a custom container solution built from four 20 ft containers.
On top of the souvenir shop, a roof terrace has been established. From here, you can really enjoy the beautiful views of Ilulissat Icefjord and Disko Bayβs icebergs. With wood cladding on the outside of the containers β the building blends in nicely, with other buildings in the area. Likewise, the exterior steel staircase solution has matching wooden railings also, complementing the cladding.
Interior walls and ceilings of the souvenir shop are plywood lined, light fixtures are also mounted in the ceiling. With the furnishing done by Albatros Travel, the end result is a cozy and welcoming souvenir shop β ready to receive interested guests.
